The risk
Nordic's largest customer discovered a failure in a batch of parts. A recall and the injury claims that followed could have wiped out a mid-size manufacturer with thin margins.
How we structured it
We had placed product liability with recall-expense coverage and a dedicated defense-outside-limits provision, so legal costs would not erode the money available to pay claims.
The outcome
The carrier funded the recall logistics and defended every claim without touching the indemnity limit. Nordic kept the customer relationship and stayed profitable through the event.
